Viktor Ohlsson - about me    På svenska tack

I have an old wooden boat named  Kricka. With this I am my family have spent many summers around the coasts of Sweden and on our channels and lakes Vättern and Vänern, as well as in Norway. I am a member Föreningen Allmogebåtar, which is working for protecting old Nordic boat types.

I have made some genealogy research. You can find it here. I have also made a collection of all Swedish kings and queens from Gustav I Vasa with portraits and relatives.

SVAR (Swedish Archive Information) has a very nice house for genealogical research in Ramsele. There you can use a research room with the church books from all of Sweden an a part of Finland free of charch. The house also have good facilities for conferences with all modern technical equipment.

My father Hugo Ohlsson have been painting on his spare time to and from all years. When he was 80 year we his children gave him an exhibition as a birthday present. He had earlier never had any exhibition or sold any paintings. He has given most of them to his friends. We borrowed many of the paintings he had given away and he had some new, which he sold at the exhibition. I made an catalogue to the exhibition and part of that I have made available here.

Besides my own homepage, I have also made and maintain the homepage of the The Radio Museum in Gothenbourgh. This museum is a good place to visit for all interested in the technical revolution which makes it possible to spread information over the whole world as easy as this.

I have also made a homepage for Babuschkas Basjkirstall (only in Swedish), which my sister was running.

I am a member of Västra Frölunda Naturvårdsförening and have made homepages for them too and I have also made a presentation of Välenområdet. Unfortunately only in Swedish.
